Creators’ Club

I’ve written off and on about Sam’s Dot Publishing.  There’s a really unusual (in a good way) endeavor going on there.  You can join the Creators’ Club, and be a part of an ongoing collaborative world building.  They’ve begun a planet there, building it with words and images.  Each person can build on the others’ work, fleshing the world, its places and peoples out with each addition of work.  It is really a fun exercise.

I haven’t joined it yet.  I am still reading and learning about the world that’s been created thus far… and thinking.  It looks like a lot of fun though, and it will only get to be more and more fun as more artists and authors join in.

While you’re at it, make sure and check out Between Kisses newsletter, and support the writers there with your votes.

I’ve written about Sam’s Dot Publishing around here several times. I’ve recently posted more extensive information about my experiences with them over at my new blog.

Stop by and visit if you get the chance. It will be great to have you join the conversation.

Are You Published Already?

Since my poetry has recently enjoyed some modest success when I submitted to various publications put out by Sam’s Dot Publishing, I decided to take them as a starting point for where else I might submit my work.  Most of their publications are sold through the Genre Mall, so I decided to see what other magazines and publishing houses are listed there.  I found a good number, and many are new markets to me.  I’ve begun the research process, and hopefully will find some that are suitable spots to submit my work soon.

I’ll keep you posted.
