In fact, I’ve liked it so much that I am migrating two blogs from other sites over to this one. The first is a blog focused on what I am reading and my recommendations about that. It is called PC Reading List. Don’t worry — the “PC” stands for poetically challenged, so I won’t beat you over the head with any particular ideological stance… well, I mean, I’ll try not to. I’ve been keeping a blog of recommended reads over at live journal. I’ll probably let that one fade away eventually, as I focus more on the blog at this site.
The other new blog I’ve started is called lightverse. It will be comprised mostly of light, humorous verse. I’ll include some pointers to fun poems that I find here and there, and to poetry contests too. I’ve been keeping lighverse at xanga for a while now, and enjoying it. But I’d like to have my blogs all consolidated here, so as to maintain them more conveniently.
Hope you enjoy!
I am treating this blog, then, as a space for writing exercises. I don’t expect much brilliance here, but I hope it will be a place that will help me gain a greater adeptness in more serious ventures into poetry writing as I go along.
Once in a while, I’ll pop in, in more prosaic form, and share reflections about writing processes too.
